We started Kigali Braids because we wanted a studio that respected hair, time and money. Too many women in Kigali have left a salon with braids too tight, a frontal that lifted after a week, or a bill that grew while they sat in the chair. So we built the opposite: a women-only atelier where you are looked after by women who do this every day, where the price you see is the price you pay, and where nobody is ever rushed out the door.
Under one roof we cover the whole women's beauty journey — protective styles (knotless, box, Fulani, Marley twists, butterfly locs), seamless install work (sew-ins, HD frontals, closures, glueless wigs), nails (gel manicures, pedicures, acrylic extensions), restorative treatments and full bridal. It means one appointment, one trusted team and one consistent standard instead of running between three different places.
The work is honest from the bundle up. Our human hair — Brazilian, Peruvian and deep-curl — and our HD 13x4 and 13x6 lace frontals are graded, photographed and stocked locally, so what you see online is what you wear out. Every install comes with aftercare guidance by WhatsApp, and we make time to teach you how to keep braids fresh, frontals laid and nails strong between visits.
